We colored eggs today, yes, a little late but never-the-less we got it done. I just love the colors of the Easter eggs. My favorite is green followed by robins egg blue. We even glittered some this time, I know... so fancy. I am always looking for creative ways on how to display the decorated eggs and have made paper holders before but this time I went for something different.
I found little twig wreaths at a craft store (they didn't have actual nests) then I put some small rocks to fill the middle of the circle wreath. Then, I just placed the eggs Max and I colored on top. It looks like a little bird nest and I think turned out pretty cute. I had the little rocks already in another bowl around the house so I just took them out of there for the time being to complete this little project.
Here is how it turned out. Easy and inexpensive - my type of project. Tomorrow, I'll post our table setting that follows with the natural type theme.
